Angels and Demons : part 2

okie the following are comments i gave in ash's blog on science and religion... it's got a couple of points which i feel serves as a continuation of the posting i wrote yday...so all u 'avid' readers...hahaha...enjoy!!!;)

Silly Billy here!!!=) 1stly thanx so muxh Evil Genius Ash for intro-ing me to this awesome book!!! Wooo hooo!!! had so much fun reading it...=) it was intriguing and inspiring to read abt the illuminati!! triple I effect huh? hahahaha...:p

i agree wif ash's pt on religion... there is indeed a need for the soul to find salvation in the supernatural...we live in a world buzzing wif rapid technological advances...the changes that occur are taking place at a rate that seems beyond our control..truly fascinating how much humanity has progressed over the years... however, it's these same changes tht bring abt pollution, deadly weaponary for warfare, pandemonium and unrest around the world...

man may have made great leaps in terms of material standards of living...and even that is onli true for those fortunate souls who're living in affluent nations... when it comes to moral aspects e primitive nature of humans to aggress and to go to battles for wealth,power or resourcs still takes hold of mankind today...

look around the world we live in today... media provides non-stop coverage on all the conflicts tht goes on...civil strifes, racial/religious struggles, international wars...poverty,famines,natural disasters, high rates of social unrest and crimes...the world seems to have gotten more 'ugly' with recent years...

there needs to be some sort of motivation...some sort of an explanation to give man the hope and reassurance he needs to proceed on wif his life even in the face of adversities...i liken the dampened human spirit to that of a flickering candle...religion is the oxygen that ensures this flame is not extinguished...religion attempts to give pple a firm ground of beliefs and ideas upon which they can stand on..not only is the human spirit as exemplified by the flame i mentioned above is not put out...it continues to burn brightly in the face of oppression and disaster...religion i belief gives us mortals a kind of inner strenghth and conviction which we would lack otherwise...science speaks to ur mind... religion speaks to your soul...=)

but as with all things i belief there's got to be a balance in everything one does.. going to the extreme ends of religion or believing solely in the miracles of science is potentially dangerous...a balanced stand between these two views one earthly and the other spiritual ensures we pay respect to both science and religion...it enables us to embrace the positive aspects both science and religion as to offer... in tht way mankind is truly empowered with both knowledge and strength of the soul...

science and religion i believe came to play central and vital roles in human life to reduce the many complexities we face... it's ironical tht what came to simplify our lives has been made complex and complicated by man battling relentlessly as he's unable to accept both science and religion...if only humanity lets both science and religion co exist harmoniously...the world will indeed be a more beautiful and peaceful place to live in...=)

okiez silly billy's done with her commenting...ash i realli loved ur posting...it's truly inspiring!!! plus it sounded really profound...not like ur usual crappy self...but it was refreshing all the same...wise gal wise words!!!;)rock on evil genius!!!hahahaha.... till laterz...
